KidFit - Muay Tykes

KidFit
  is our youth Fitness program. It's designed to be fun, educational, quick and effective.
As only the 16th trainer to be certified under the YouthFit Program, while in Los Angeles I had difficulty finding time to schedule in all the families that were interested. Now with a training facility of our own we've dedicated a time slot soley to working with young athletes (6-13). With classes small enough to keep a watchful eye on each student, but large enough to offer a community style, team atmosphere. 
Our young athletes enjoy seeing and training with familiar faces and often forging strong new friendships all while establishing a foundation for lifelong fitness (but don't tell them that). 
The average session consists of 10-15 minutes of aerobic warm-ups, 5 minutes of mobility training (functional stretching), a 7-10 minute W.O.D. (Workout of the Day) and end with a game.
With light discussion of nutrition and healty lifestyle choices even a short period of classes will offer your child a mental database of fitness knowledge they can refer back to the rest of their lives.
Classes are Mon. Wed. Fri. 4-4:50pm $125.00 month. First class is always free!




MUAY TYKES
is our kiddo version of our Muay Thai Program. Muay Thai is the art of Thai Kickboxing that utilizes kicks, punches, knees and elbows. 
It is a traditional martial art (dating back to the 1200's) so your child will learn self control, respect and increased disapline, but it is also a very athletic sport, so they'll get to punch, kick, knee and elbow things every class.
My main goal when teaching children is to pass on the love for the art of Muay Thai. Through years of teaching kids classes I've learned the best way to do that is to make it fun. So we have a playful warm-up, work hard and end with a game.
Classes are 50 minutes long on Tuesday and Thursday at 4pm. The first class is always free.
$65.00 month/unlimited classes. Discount if student also takes KidFit.
